After sometime searching the net, I discover partimage. This program will help greatly speed up my work. This way I can always back up my work and start where I left off. I have figure out, how to download the program and open it t see the different windows. Several questions here is screenshot.

1- When I tried to create a image of hda2, I have to unmout it. I type umount / and recieved "device busy".. How do I accomplish this?. I am logged as ROOT

II am able to back a unmount partition, but a not a very good idea to use.

2- How to I move the "*" from one chose to another. In the save partition portion window to compress to bzip2

Please advise. I know I will be asking more questiuon so be patient with me. Thanks

I am not sure why or that it is possible to unmount a device. Usually a device is mounted to a directory and unmounted from a directory.

With regard to the selection, use the arrow keys to control the cursor and the space bar to select. Not be funny, impatient or disrespectful" I have not seen due diligence.
