Error: "This volume (1) is not the expected one: 0.&quo

Hello,
I created an image file of my Windows partition hda1 (fat32) with Partition Image 0.6.2 under Knoppix 3.4 c´t-Edition (bootable CD).
When I want to write back the image with "[email protected][knoppix]# partimage restore /dev/hda1 /mnt/hda3/Stefan/Admin_Fujitsu_Karl/WindowsME.001" I get the error "This volume (1) is not the expected one: 0."
Same if I use the graphical interface of Partition Image.
What am I doing wrong?
Thank you.

At a guess: You are starting with the wrong image. The fact that it ends in "001" implies that there should be a ".000" file.

I am having the same problem. The file name is correct...netbook.000.

Any other ideas?
